Our Suffolk Tour started softly — News

Well, wasn't that a quick summer. Our Suffolk Tour started softly 🎪. After years of collecting old bouncy castles and refurbishing them while funding work from our other "boring" jobs, we finally launched live events in the place we call home. The first stop was Ringsfield Village Hall, just outside the market town of Beccles. The turnout was excellent and the takings allowed a small donation to the Village Halls fund. 🤝

Quick summary: first event success

We moved fast. Preparation took years, but the build-up felt sudden. We learned a lot. Some things went better than expected. Some need tweaks. Overall, the event was a success. We left encouraged and ready to improve for the next dates.

Main services delivered

• Events — family-friendly, local, and safe 🎉
• Charitable giving — small donations back to community Village Halls 💝
• Providing for the small community — local hires, volunteers, and partnerships 🤝

Event highlights — Ringsfield and Beccles

• Venue: Ringsfield Village Hall — intimate, welcoming, perfectly local.
• Location: Near the market town of Beccles — accessible for surrounding villages.
• Turnout: Excellent crowd numbers for a first event.
• Impact: Enough takings to contribute a donation to the Village Halls fund.

What we learned

• Logistics: Transport and setup need tighter scheduling 🚐.
• Refurb: Some inflatables required extra repairs and spares 🛠️.
• Staffing: Volunteer shifts should be shorter and better rotated.
• Community feedback: Requests for more varied stalls and quieter play times.

Where we operate

Delivery Areas: Norfolk and Suffolk Borders. We focus on small community venues and Village Halls. Our aim is to support local hubs across the Norfolk and Suffolk borders with affordable, well-run events.

Why this matters

Village Halls are community anchors. Small donations keep them running. Local events bring residents together. They boost local trade and volunteer spirit. Our Suffolk Tour started softly. But the response was loud. Thanks to everyone who came to Ringsfield and to our neighbours around Beccles for the warm welcome. We learned, we gave, and we’re already planning improvements. 🎪💫
